01 / OUR STORY

Built for
community.

Liberian Collective began with a simple belief: our culture deserves spaces where it can be experienced fully — with joy, pride, connection and intention.

What started as community-building has grown into cultural events, recognition programs, scholarships, gatherings and opportunities that bring people together across generations.

We celebrate where we come from while creating room for what comes next. That means honoring tradition, supporting community, investing in young people and building experiences that make Liberian culture visible, vibrant and connected.

OUR MISSION
We create spaces where Liberian culture is celebrated, community is strengthened, and the next generation is supported.
WHAT GUIDES US

Culture is something
we activate.

CULTURE

We celebrate Liberian identity, creativity, history, food, music, traditions and the ways our culture continues to evolve.

02

COMMUNITY

We create opportunities for people to gather, build relationships, support one another and feel connected.

03

LEGACY

We honor the people and stories that shaped us while making sure the next generation has something meaningful to inherit.

04

We invest in ideas, people and opportunities that help our community imagine and build what comes next.

OUR ORGANIZATION

Built with purpose.
Growing with intention.

Liberian Collective is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to strengthening community through culture, connection, recognition and opportunity.

Our work is powered by volunteers, community partners, sponsors, donors and people who believe that culture can be both a celebration of where we come from and an investment in where we are going.
